    Large-ASW oriented corvettes, the final variant of the 'Grisha' series. Compared to the previous 'Grisha-III' these units have new radars, 76.2mm gun in place of 57mm, one fewer ASW RL. Two units operated by the Maritime Border Guard. 28 units are believed to be in service; known names/numbers include MPK-6, 7, 9, 10, 52, 56, 69, 82, 85, 107, 113, 118, 130, 134, 203, 207, 214, 217, 291.

    Classification: Malyy Protivolodochnyy Korabl' (MPK); Small Antisubmarine Ship.

    Builders: Leninskaya Kuznitsa SY, Kiev, Ukraine; Khabarovsk SY; Zaliv Zavod 532, Kerch, Ukraine; Zelenodol'sk Zavod, Kazan. Built 1985-1994.

    Disposals/Reserve: Several units under construction at the time of the Soviet collapse were taken over by Ukraine.

    Designed to hunt and destroy enemy submarines in
